Description
Curcuma longa MT is used as anti-inflammatory. The mother tincture is used internally as well as externally to relieve pain and inflammation of arthritis. It is antiseptic and antioxidant. The alkaloids, resin and an active chemical known as curcumin and turmerne have been studied and found to be useful in inflammatory problems of joints. Research shows that it is more antioxidant than vitamin E, lowers cholesterols, prevents risks of cancer and has anticoagulent action on blood. Research favourably speak for cough, dysponoea, antifungal, CNS depressant and cholesterol lowering properties and anti-rheumatic.
