Description
Aegle folia MT is known for its therapeutic value in bleeding piles, diarrhoea, dysentary, fever with dropsy and impotency. A recent study conducted at Banaras Hindu University has found that an essential oil isolated from this drug exhibited variable efficacy against different fungal isolates. Other researches also support its use in diabetes and as antioxidant. Its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activities have also been established.
