Description

Sanguinaria canadensis, commonly known as Bloodroot, is a homoeopathic medicine derived from the rhizome of the Sanguinaria plant. Belonging to the Papaveraceae family, it has been traditionally valued for its therapeutic properties in treating respiratory and circulatory disorders. In homoeopathy, Sanguinaria canadensis is used to alleviate symptoms of sinusitis, especially when accompanied by headache and nasal congestion. It is also employed for its effects on migraines, sore throats, and menstrual irregularities.

• The cough is often accompanied by burning pain in the chest, particularly on the right side, and may worsen at night, requiring the patient to sit up. There’s also relief from eructation (belching).
