Oenanthe crocata is a powerful and deeply acting homoeopathic medicine prepared from the fresh root of Oenanthe crocata (Hemlock Drop-wort), collected during its flowering period. Belonging to the Umbelliferæ family and found in marshy places, it exerts a marked influence on the nervous system, producing effects closely resembling epilepsy, tetanus, and apoplexy.
