Lycopodium Clavatum

Lycopodium clavatum is a deep-acting constitutional medicine in homoeopathy, particularly useful in chronic, progressive ailmentsthat develop gradually and are associated with digestive weakness, urinary disturbances, and liver dysfunction. It is well-suited to individuals who are mentally active but physically weak. Lycopodium is especially useful in atonic conditions, malnutrition, and glandular imbalances, showing a regulating influence on the sebaceous secretions. It is often indicated in older individuals with earthy complexions, yellowish skin spots, uric acid tendencies, and pre-senile debility, as well as in precocious but delicate children. Symptoms characteristically move from right to left and worsen between 4–8 p.m. Lycopodium aids in cases of liver disease, kidney disorders, and digestive atony, where bloating and fermentation are prominent.
