Description
Calotropis gigantia MT has a great therapeutic value over asthma; ascites; cough; catarrh; chronic rheumatism; diarrhoea; dysentery; elephantiasis; pneumonic tuberculosis; poisonous snake-bite; leprosy; intestinal worms; skin disease and syphilis. Tincture of the leaves are used in intermittent fevers. Research reports state anti-cancer properties of alcoholic extract, benefits in lupus, tubercular leprosy, syphilitic ulcers and rheumatism.
