BROMIUM

Bromium, prepared from elemental bromine of Halogens group, primarily affects the respiratory system, glands, and skin. It is particularly suited for scrofulous children of the blond type with enlarged glands such as the parotids and thyroid (goitre). This medicine aids in spasmodic respiratory complaints, laryngeal inflammation, and glandular indurations that tend to harden but seldom suppurate. Bromium is indicated in individuals who are aggravated by overheating and have a tendency toward weakness, profuse sweats, and excoriating discharges.
