Description
Apis mellifica is a well-known homoeopathic medicine prepared from the honeybee. It primarily acts on the cellular tissues, especially affecting the skin, mucous membranes, and serous membranes, causing edematous swelling, redness, and stinging pain—much like the reaction to a bee sting. Apis is widely used for conditions with sudden swelling, inflammation, and fluid accumulation, as well as for urinary, respiratory, and gynecological complaints.
