Description
Millefolium is a valuable and widely used homoeopathic medicine prepared from the fresh plant Achillea millefolium, commonly known as Yarrow. It has a profound action on the circulatory system, making it especially suited for various forms of hemorrhage, where the blood is bright red and fluid. Millefolium is indicated in bleeding from the lungs, uterus, rectum, or urinary tract, and is an important medicine for post-surgical bleeding, epistaxis, and traumatic injuries such as those from falls or overexertion. It also acts on the nervous and respiratory systems, making it helpful in convulsions, vertigo, palpitations, and haemoptysis in early tuberculosis.
