Sabadilla, also known as Cevadilla Seed, a medicine from the Melanthiaceae family, acts powerfully on the mucous membranes of the nose and throat, especially where symptoms resemble hay-fever or involve spasmodic sneezing and burning lachrymation. It is particularly useful in nervous and chilly constitutions, those highly sensitive to cold, odors, and internal sensations, often imagining grave illnesses or bodily distortions. Sabadilla also addresses worm-related reflex symptoms, intermittent delirious states, and peculiar appetites and aversions.
